Humboldt Higher Education Center
The Humboldt Higher Education Center of Jackson State opened in November 2007, through the cooperation of Jackson State, the University of Memphis, University of Tennessee at Martin, Tennessee Technology Center-Jackson and the City of Humboldt. The center is housed in the newly renovated, historic Main Street Elementary building. The facility is equipped with the latest in educational technology. There are two computer laboratories, a science laboratory, spacious classrooms, testing facilities, library and gorgeous hardwood floors.
The center offers general education courses that will meet requirements of additional degrees offered through Jackson State main campus or other universities. Both on-line and video courses are available. Specialized courses in continuing education can be tailored to meet the needs of the community. Memphis and UTM offer both undergraduate and graduate courses. TTC-Jackson offers an LPN and Business Systems Technology program in Humboldt. The Humboldt Center adheres to the Jackson State Community College mission in providing accessible learning opportunities and services to a diverse student population and community. The college enhances quality of life by offering associates degrees, certificates and enrichment courses as preparation for further higher education and for career entry or advancement.

College by Video Testing Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00a.m.-8:00p.m. (Must begin no later than 7:00p.m.)
Friday 8:00-4:30 (Must begin no later than 3:00p.m.)
