Walter L. Nelms Classroom Building

The Walter L. Nelms Classroom Building is named after the second president (1976-1997) of Jackson State. This building serves as the instructional center for most of the courses in Arts and Sciences and Health Sciences. The innovative SMART (Survive, Master, Achieve, Review, Transfer) Math Lab is located on the first floor of this building. The print shop, office of information technology, and the night office also are housed in this facility.
