Telcom Sales Associate

Duties

Outside sales position to acquire new commercial telecom accounts. Duties include:

  • Uses company approved sales approach and account strategy to grow commercial accounts
  • Meets defined sales quotas and goals
  • Manages and leverages business relationships with key vendors, clients and other agencies to increase sales
  • Finalizes contracts in accordance to company standards
  • Maintains proper sales reports as specified
  • Assists in designing, coordinating and presenting marketing strategies/promotions to achieve growth
  • Evaluates and analyzes results of sales and marketing programs competitive activities to improve tactical, operational and strategic planning
  • Maintains knowledge of current programming choices, targeted audiences, etc.
  • Maintains records and files
  • Services accounts and assists in collection of accounts according to company standards and procedures
  • Maintains favorable relationships and contacts with current and potential clients
  • Works closely with others and with other business units to meet customer needs and expectations
  • Maintains a professional demeanor and appearance at all times
  • Performs other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in Marketing (or related area) with at least 1 year of successful outside sales experience or extensive sales experience may be substituted for degree
  • Proficient with PC skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills and strongly motivated
  • Must have and maintain a valid TN Class "D" license
