Academic Assistance Center Computer Lab

The Academic Assistance Center (AAC) computer lab provides free student access to sixty computers featuring Windows XP Professional operating systems. Software includes Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007 with Access, Excel, FrontPage, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. Some of the software applications that are installed on the computers include Integrated Accounting, Marketing Plan Pro, Chemistry 4-D draw, Macromedia, Photoshop, ViaGrafix C Programming and C++ Programming Tutorials, Mathematica, RG NetClient for Physical Therapy, and Keyboarding Pro.

The multimedia center has numerous additional CD-ROM titles in different disciplines available for use in the lab. CDs and/or videos are available for anatomy and physiology, art, biology, mathematics, microbiology, music, nursing, physical science, and Spanish.

Finally, twelve of the computer systems provide health science programs for use by our nursing students. The programs include the use of Computer Assisted Instruction, CDs, and DVDs.

Staff is available to provide assistance as needed across this entire spectrum of computer operating system and application software.
