Who is eligible for Articulation?
To be eligible for articulation, a student must earn a regular diploma from one of the high schools in the JSCC 14 county service area. In addition, the student must earn an overall "C" average or higher. [Note that some programs require a minimum of a "B" in the technical program of study.]
Submit a signed Articulation Application to the Perkins IV office at Jackson State. Satisfactorily complete a proficiency/performance exam administered by the receiving postsecondary institution.

Six Easy Steps for Students
- Earn your high school diploma with related Career and Technical courses.
- Send your Articulation Application and your transcript to the Perkins IV Office.
- When you are cleared, the Perkins IV Office will contact you.
- Pass your exam(s) with the designated score.
- Review your grade(s) and sign the Results of Articulation form.
- Complete the remaining required credit hours.
