Technical Certificate of Credit

This course of study is designed for public library support staff and for those interested in a career in public library service. This certificate can assist individuals in getting a greater degree of competency at their present level of employment or aid in career advancement.

The courses will be offered online asynchronously (at a student’s own schedule). 3 semester hours of college credit will be awarded for each course. The cost for each course will be $374.00.

To be admitted to the certificate program, you will just need to have your high school transcript or GED record sent to the JSCC Admissions Office.

The certificate will be awarded after completion of six courses. However, applicants may just take one or more courses without seeking the certificate.
