Communication & Fine Arts
JSCC's Department of Communication and Fine Arts (CFA) provides opportunities for developing skills and understanding in the fields of Art , Communication, Music , Speech and Theatre . We serve students' academic and professional needs by offering General Education classes as well as courses for JSCC's Art and Communication majors. Students completing departmental courses will experience an expanded view of the world, critical thought regarding meaningful human experiences, use of technological innovations in their fields and opportunities for development of the whole person.
Through excellence in performance and in department-sponsored activities, CFA serves our community by contributing to and enriching its educational, cultural and aesthetic experiences. <acronym title="Jackson State Community College">JSCC</acronym>'s Choral Ensemble "Innovation" , the Art Club and the Theatre Club are among the department's endeavors. We aim to exemplify the fine quality of our programs, students and faculty.
