Transfer Options
At Jackson State, we work hard to make sure that you graduate with your associate’s degree and arrive at a university prepared to start junior-level courses. That’s why we have special articulation agreements with Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) schools that allow students completing the Associate of Arts/Science Social Work degree to transfer as juniors. TBR universities with social work degrees include:
- Austin Peay State University
- East Tennessee State University
- Middle Tennessee State University
- Tennessee State University
- The University of Memphis
An articualtion agreement with the University of Tennessee at Martin is nearing completion and, beginning Fall 2007, will ensure seamless transfer to the four-year degree program in Social Work at UTM. Other schools in West Tennessee with social work degrees include Union University. Students may require additional courses at these universities prior to becoming a junior.
