The following content is exclusively for currently matriculated PTA program students, Clinical Coordinators of Clinical Education, and Clinical Instructors. Students who have not yet been accepted into the PTA program should disregard this information.
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program has established policies and procedures to ensure that clinical education is provided in an effective, safe, and ethical manner. All individuals involved in the program’s clinical education curriculum should be familiar with these policies and procedures, as well as, the guidelines specific to his/her individual role in the clinical environment as delineated by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
