Radiography Structure
The Radiography Program consists of traditional college classes and courses in Radiography which are based on campus combined with extensive clinical education in one of four area hospitals.
Academic Courses
Academic and professional courses designed to give the student necessary background for a career in Radiography are conducted on the college campus. See the Radiography curriculum for more details. Upon successful completion of the program the graduate receives an Associate of Applied Science Degree.
Clinical Education
In addition to academic courses on the college campus, Radiography students participate in extensive clinical education at one of the affiliate hospitals. Clinical education provides structured hands-on experience with modern technology in the radiology department.

Clinical Education (contact hours per week by semesters)
| First Semester | 8 hours/week |
| Second Semester | 16 hours/week |
| Third Semester | 32 hours/week |
| Fourth through Sixth Semesters | 24 hours/week |
Students will be scheduled for clinical education on days not scheduled in the college Catalog/Student Handbook. Clinical education may include minimal evening/weekend rotations. Clinical education will total approximately 1,800 hours during the program. Upon successful completion of the clinical education phase of the program, the affiliate hospital will award the graduate with a certificate of completion of clinical education.
