Program and Career Description
The Associate of Science in Pre-Medical Professions is designed for students wanting to complete the first two years of the bachelor's degree in a community college setting. Our students have the opportunity to work closely with science faculty, have ample access to science labs, and should be well prepared to continue their educations at a university. Students seeking medical careers may consider careers as a doctor, chiropractor, dentist, optometrist, or pharmacist. These professions require a doctorate degree. Other career options include occupational therapists, physical therapists, dental hygienists, and medical technologist. These professions may require a bachelor's degree.

Associate of Science Pre-Medical Professions Major requires 61-62 college level credits.
This is a transfer program which was granted an exception to the 60 hour limit requirement reached through Tennessee Board of Regents consensus.
