Distance Education Student Seminar
Online Courses:
At the beginning of each semester, the Distance Education Department offers seminars for students taking online classes. Students taking online classes for the first time are required to participate, If you completed the seminar during an earlier semester, you are not required to participate, but you may complete the seminar again if you like.
The student online seminar can be completed anywhere any time. You do not have to attend a scheduled meeting, but it is a good idea to attend if you have questions or need help using eLearn.
eLearn Calendar / Important Dates
May 21st - Student Seminar (tutorial) available online
June 4th - Access to regular and 7-week session summer courses begin
(you will not see your course until June 4th)
July 9th - access to 2nd 7-week session summer classes begins (you will not see your course until July 9th )
Last day to drop a class or withdraw from college
June 25 (1st session)
July 30 (2nd session) Seminar Schedule
July 18 (10 week session)
Headphones are required! Please bring a set of headphones with you when you attend the session.

Online Sessions ( connect using Adobe Connect – from anywhere with high-speed internet and a set of earphones or speakers)
You MUST register to receive a link to connect to the seminar. Limit 20 per session.
