Philosophy
The Philosophy program at Jackson State is designed to prepare students for transfer to a four-year institution with the goal of pursuing a career, such as law or business, in which critical thinking and analysis are key components, and to prepare students for the basic academic requirements needed for other institutions of higher learning.
