Terrie Killough

Terrie Killough was a rising senior who began JSCC in 1986. She was a member of The Jazz Singers and Dancers and The Student Government. She was Miss JSCC 1988 and a 1988 Cum Laude graduate from JSCC with an A.S. in Communications. She received the Dean's Presidential Scholarship to the University of Memphis where she studied Commercial Music Business. She also attended Lambuth University where she studied journalism. In 1991, she became the lead singer for pop and rock bands and toured the Southeastern US, Canada and the Caribbean. She now owns Terrie K Arts, creating and selling One of a Kind Art Jewelry, Fine Arts & Crafts and Graphics. She sings and performs locally with area bands, solo venues and area theatre groups. Terrie credits her experiences at JSCC and as Miss JSCC for opening up a multitude of opportunities to her and giving her the confidence to follow her goals and dreams while giving her a true sense of pride in her college and city.
