Foundation
The Foundation was formed in 1977 as a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation to raise and administer funds to support the mission and enhance the growth and development of Jackson State. Foundation funding provides for scholarships, programs, capital improvements, equipment and facilities, and other projects for which institutional funds are either not available or are in short supply.
Mission
To forever improve the quality of life of Jackson State Community College students by raising and administering funds to support and enhance the growth and development of the college.
Our purpose is to raise funds to provide access to higher education and workforce development training to all qualified West Tennesseans. Our goal is to never turn a potential student away for financial reasons or because of inadequate facilities.
