Philosophy
The effectiveness of Jackson State Community College depends on the quality and growth of revenues and enrollments, the smoothness of internal operations and relationships, the consistency of internal processes, the positive growth of outcome measures, the continuous use of outcomes to make improvements, and the willingness to share our effectiveness knowledge and expertise with our external partners and community.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness at Jackson State Community College is to safeguard the college's core values and beliefs; ensure consistent delivery of the institutional mission throughout the organization; promote a campus-wide commitment to excellence through oversight of all institutional effectiveness, accreditation, quality, performance funding, strategic planning, and research functions; and support institutional members in their effectiveness efforts through provision of systematic training on the necessary skills, accessibility to research data for decision-making purposes, and centralized storage and cataloging of college and unit assessment data.
