What will my classes be like?
Jackson State Community College is committed to keeping class sizes small to offer students personal assistance and attention. Most classes have 30 students or less.

What if I am having trouble with my classes?
We encourage our students to ask questions in class and meet with the instructor at the first indication of trouble. Should problems persist, students should consult with the Academic Assistance Center, located on the 2nd floor of the Library for free tutoring.

What does withdrawing from the school mean?
A student who wishes to withdraw from school during a semester is required to follow the official withdrawal procedure which may be initiated in the Counseling Office Room 12A in the Student Union Building. Students who stop attending classes without following this procedure will have their grades recorded as 'F'.

What does withdrawing from a class mean?
If you need to drop a class, you are encouraged to use Student Self Service. You will need your PIN provided by the Admissions and Records Office. In some circumstances, financial aid and other scholarships may be affected. Students who stop attending class without following this procedure will have their grades recorded as 'F'.
