Alumni Association Awards
The Jackson State Community College Alumni Association Board of Directors is seeking nominations for the association' annual awards. The three categories are:- Distinguished Faculty Award
- Distinguished Staff Award
- Outstanding Alumnus Award
The following information MUST be included with your nomination:
- Candidate's name and contact information
- Your name and contact information
- Summary of why you believe this person deserves the award
Each individual is allowed only one nomination per award. Please e-mail your nomination no later than Friday, August 26, 2011 to Karen Robertson.
Below are the suggested criteria for each category. Your nomination might be based on, but not limited to, the following:
Distinguished Faculty Award
- Support given to students
- Faculty leadership
- Expertise/accomplishment in their academic field
- Length of service to Jackson State
Distinguished Staff Award
- Support given to co-workers and students
- Knowledge/expertise
- Accomplishments in their field
- Length of service to Jackson State
Outstanding Alumnus Award
- Must have attended Jackson State at least one year and taken 30 or more credit hours
- Professional accomplishment
- Demonstrated community service
- Commitment to Jackson State
