Diversity Committee Brown Bag Lunch

Please join us for the Diversity Committee Brown Bag Lunch Series this April 2, Wednesday at noon, in the Writing Center for a very special presentation by Ms. Roslyn Wilson, Social Work Field Director and Associate Professor of Social Work at Union University. Ms. Wilson is a first-generation college student who received her B.S. in Sociology from Tennessee State University and her M.S.W. (Masters of Social Work) from the University of Tennessee School of Social Work in Nashville. She has been an active worker in the field of social welfare and social work, in Arkansas and Tennessee, since 1978, and has taught social work at Arkansas State University as well as Jackson State and Union University. She has a rich life from which to pull narratives of accomplishment in difficult circumstances and is an enthusiastic supporter of students who struggle to juggle family life as well as school and career.

Join Ms. Wilson for a spirited discussion of meeting challenges head on to succeed in a valuable social work career.
