Exam Prep Courses
ACT
The first ACT class session you'll take a diagnostic exam. In the next five ACT sessions you'll review English, Reading, Science, Reasoning and Math. Then you'll take a practice exam, followed by a post-exam review at which all the instructors will be present to answer your questions. The text will be available the first night of class.
GED
Come to campus and prepare for the GED while enjoying working on computers. This program requires no previous computer experience. After your practice GED test, you and the instructor will find the areas where you need improvement and design your own personal study program to help you be prepared for the GED exam.
SHRM Certification
The SHRM Learning System Course is designed to provide you with an overview of the areas in human resource management. Materials include six modules that correspond to the six functional areas responsibilities, and associated knowledge as defined by the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI). The program is offered in cooperation with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) as study material for the Professional in Human Resource (PHR) and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification examinations administered by HRCI. Besides being a powerful tool to assist you in preparing for th PHR or SPHR certification exams, the SHRM Learning Course also provides professional development for you and your HR Department. This course provides a solid foundation for managing the HR challenges you face in today's demanding environment; it supplies a current reference of HR practices, broadens the perspective of functional specialists, and strengthens individual competencies and productivity. NOTE: THE SHRM CERTIFICATION EXAM IN NOT INCLUDED IN THE CLASS PREP COURSE.
