Basic Motorcycle Rider Safety
New and experienced riders will learn safe motorcycle riding skills in this course. Learn the operation of the controls, straight line riding, turning, shifting, stopping, basic maneuvers, street riding, defensive driving and handling emergencies. Successfully complete both the written and skills tests and earn an exemption from the state motorcycle operators' license skill examinations.
Experienced Rider
This course is designed to teach you the skills that will enable you to respond with precision and accuracy to unexpected road and traffic conditions. Topics include advanced maneuvers, skid control, counter-steering, and the management of complex situations. You are required to furnish your own registered and insured motorcycle and a DOT approved helmet for yourself. The Experienced Riders Course is available for individuals, clubs, or groups. Successful completion will renew your eligibility for a possible discount on your liability insurance.
Drum Major Day Camp
This class is for both those wanting to try out for his/her band's drum major and for current drum majors. Students will learn skills to help ensure a superior rating at competitions such as: the proper ways to conduct beats; executing cues to fit the music; designing salutes to fit your show and personality; fine tune marching techniques; and much more. There will be a one-hour lunch break.
Wine Harvesting Class
Enjoy the grape harvest at Old Medina Winery. Experience harvesting the grapes, de-stemming the grapes, crushing the grapes, and pressing the grapes, as a by-stander learning and watching or as a participant both harvesting and processing the grapes with the winemaker.
Prerequisite: Must be at least 21 years of age.
Wine Basics
This course will explore the basics of wine and how it relates to various areas of our daily lives from cooking to dining out and from purchasing to storing your wine. Additional $5.00 wine tasting fee per person.
Prerequisite: Must be 21 years or older.
Wine Aromas
Identify and memorize wine aromas. This class will build one's confidence in wine tasting by being able to describe the different wine aromas associated with various wines. Additional $5.00 wine tasting fee per person.
