Distance Education Seminars

Distance Education Student Seminar

At the beginning of each semester, the Distance Education Department offers seminars for students taking online classes. Students taking online classes for the first time are encouraged to participate.

The student online seminar can be completed anywhere any time. You no longer have to attend a scheduled meeting, but you can schedule a HelpMe session if you have questions or need help using eLearn.

Attention laptop/mobile device users

HelpMe sessions are here!  –  HelpMe sessions are sessions for individuals, or small groups of people who need help with eLearn, or specific technical issues on their personal devices. The sessions can be completed online, or at the JSCC campus and are designed for users who have laptops, or other devices they can bring/use during the session. Session participants should have specific questions, or problems they need help resolving. Users who do not have a personal device can attend a session and work with a trainer to resolve their problem or question.
