Employment Opportunities
Federal College Work-Study
Jobs are awarded to students who demonstrate financial need on the FAFSA and who meet the March 15th priority filing deadline. You can earn from $1,000 to $2,400 per school year by working on campus or with an off-campus community service agency. An on-campus job might include work as an office clerk, library assistant, lab assistant, data entry clerk or business office assistant.
JSCC Campus Regular Work
This program offers jobs to a few students who do not qualify for need-based Federal Work-Study funds. Jobs are available to students selected by faculty members to be tutors or lab assistants. Several student office clerk positions are also filled through the Campus Regular Work program. If you are interested, you must complete the FAFSA in order to apply for this program.
