CampusID
What is the CampusID?
The CampusID is a unique number (usually starting with a J) that uniquely identifies each person in our computer systems. The CampusID is much like a social security number meaning that you should keep it protected. Only give your CampusID to College staff that request it. The CampusID also called the Banner ID.
How do I get my CampusID?
Jackson State I.D. Card
Your CampusID appears on the back of your Jackson State I.D. card. For more information on I.D. cards for students, visit the Student Services Student ID page. For more information on I.D. cards for employees, contact the Human Resources department.
Students
If you are a student, you should have received a letter via mail with your Campus I.D. number (a.k.a. J number), and instructions to go to the college home page and set up your NetLogon before classes start.
If you have lost your letter or the letter was returned to the college because of an expired address, you can get your Campus I.D. by:
- Coming to an administrative office on campus or any of the centers in Humboldt, Lexington or Savannah and showing a valid photo I.D.
- We can mail one to their current address of record in the system.
- We DO NOT give them out over the phone under any circumstances.
Employees
After Human Resources has processed your paperwork, they will contact you via the email address you provided (or phone, if you did not provide a personal email address) with your CampusID and instructions on how to activate your NetLogon.
