Student jWeb FAQ

What is jWeb?

Jackson State's new portal system is called jWeb. You will use your NetLogon to access the site. Inside jWeb, you will have access to virtually all online services that Jackson State provides to students.

What can I use jWeb for? And why should I use jWeb?

Once you logon to jWeb, you will have access to your email, online courses, library databases, Smarthinking.com, registration information, and grades - all with a single sign-on through jWeb!

So when you logon to jWeb, you will simply click on the email icon and there's your email. Click on the D2L icon and there's your Jackson State online courses. On the Student Tab, you can register for classes, check your schedule, pay your fees, and check your grades.

If you participate in student organizations, you can join their jWeb group and get announcements on upcoming meetings, post to the group message board, share files or photos, and more. (Each group may have different tools and each group has an acceptable use policy.)

There's plenty more things you can do in jWeb, just logon and check it out!
