Bannisters Give First-Hand Account of Holocaust at Jackson State Event
Jackson, Tenn. -- Jackson State Community College will host Henry and John Bannister on March 19 from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. in Ayers Auditorium in the McWherter Center to talk about the new book “The Secret Holocaust Diaries: The Untold Story of Nonna Bannister.”
Nonna died in 2005 and her husband, Henry, has published her memoirs at her request at least two years after her death. The book is due to be published in April and can be pre-ordered on Amazon .com.
During the Jackson State event, Henry and John will speak about Nonna and present her story as a way to “never forget” the horrors of the Holocaust.
