JSCC Clubs Participate in Recycling Project
The student organizations of Jackson State Community College recently completed a year-long recycling project. The project was a competition between the clubs that resulted in over 16,000 pounds of material being recycled.
The Spanish Club won the contest turning in 6400 pounds of material. JSCC's choral ensemble, Innovation, came in second place with 2500 pounds of material. Last year's winner, the Biology Club, turned in over 2000 pounds. Other participating clubs included: Phi Theta Kappa, Student Nursing Association, Respiratory Therapy Club, Art Club, Black Student Association, and Kappa Beta Delta.
Congratulations to all these "green" teams!
