One of the following three options must be followed by any JSCC faculty or staff member who require person(s) not employed by JSCC to access any JSCC building, classroom, or facility after hours or on weekends/holidays.

  • Option 1. (PREFERRED) JSCC faculty or staff member will submit the following information to the JSCC Chief of Police, Aaron Patton, by campus email (apatton1@jscc.edu) which will include:
    1. Name of person(s) requiring access
    2. Date(s) and time(s) of access
    3. Facility to be accessed
  • Option 2. JSCC faculty or staff member will telephone on-duty officer by calling 731-225-5952. Officers will conduct a return call to faculty or staff member to confirm the access request. Officers will only return call known numbers.
  • Option 3. A JSCC faculty or staff member may accompany the individual(s) requiring access. If this option is used, faculty or staff member must stay with the individual(s) until they leave the facility. Faculty or staff member should telephone the on-duty officer by calling 731-225-5952 so that the after-hours access may be logged for security reasons.

In addition to the above procedure, security personnel will perform periodic checks to ensure only scheduled and/or authorized individuals are present in JSCC facilities.
