Program and Career Description

The Associate of Arts/Science Sociology major is designed for students pursuing a career in the area of sociology and/or a career built around the foundation of sociology. The course work provides the student with a solid academic background for transferring to a four-year university to pursue a bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree depending upon the career path selected. Examples of sociology careers include education, criminal justice, and social research.
