The Disabled Student Services Office staff will be a liaison between people with disabilities and Jackson State Community College faculty, staff and students. We will:
- Help foster students' academic success and independence, as well as promote personal growth;
- Do all we can to reduce the effects of the student's disability or disabilities on their academic performance, and assure equal opportunity necessary to help compensate for their disability;
- Encourage students to manage their own accommodation needs as well as advocate for themselves; and
- Provide equal access, full participation and accessibility to the college's activities and services.
