Old Business

SGA Secretary Vacancy
Bill Mathews was appointed SGA Secretary for the Spring 08 semester during the Jan. meeting

The Real Deal Trivia Game
Plans were discussed concerning the disappointment with the trivia game that was held in the Student Union Building. Because of this disappointment, the idea was brought before the meeting of a student sponsored trivia game to be held sometime in the month of Feb. Beth was chosen to spearhead the event and other BHM activities including movies such as the Rosa Parks Story or The Martin Luther King Jr. Story. I don't know the exact names of these films, but you get the idea.

Food Drive for the Dream Center
Ideas were discussed about ways to get students and professors more involved in the food drive. A contest between the professors to see which one could entice their classes to collect the most food, resulting in the winner being taken out to dinner (pizza) was the favorite idea.

Other ideas included trying to do the food presentation on the night of the benefit concert (March, 7th) and have Joey talk to his contact at VIP Magazine about covering the event.

SGA Sophomore Commissioner Vacancy
The decision was made that the vacant seat of a sophomore commissioner should not be filled due to lack of interested students as well as it going past our deadline as set at the Jan. 30th meeting.

Announcements
Lora Martin of PTK brought up the Nations Against Genocide project that she is involved in.

Adjournment
Kevin adjourned the meeting at 2:42
