Sigma Kappa Delta
The purposes of the Society shall be educational, literary, and charitable. The Society shall strive to:
- Confer distinction for high achievment in English language and literature in two-year instittions of higher education
- Provide, through its local chapters, cultural stimulation on college campuses and to promote interest in literature and English language in the surrounding communities
- Foster the discipline of English in all its aspects, including creative and critical writing
- Promote community aming its members
- Exhibit high standards of academic excellence
