Accounting Associate (Humboldt TN)


Job Summary:

The Accounting Associate will create timely and accurate reporting for the Humboldt location through both routine and ad hoc reporting requests. Main focus will be Accounts Payable processing, daily invoicing, spreadsheet creation/updating, inventory cycle counts and physical inventories, research, analysis, updating procedures, ad hoc reports and general accounting functions including closing month end. Assists with process improvements and project implementations. Performs basic office duties such as: copying, filing, faxing, preparing, sorting, and distributing mail, entering data, and running basic or standard reports. Back-up other office staff as needed.

Essential Functions:

  • Process accounts payable
  • Filing proofs-of-delivery
  • Updating customer sales spreadsheets
  • Counting of inventory items

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelors in accounting, finance or other business degree

Knowledge Requirements: 

  • Microsoft Office 9Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); Outlook email; reading and writing command of the English language


  • Zero to 2 years in manufacturing environment preferred

  • Must be able to wear safety glasses, ear protection, and steel toe shoes on the job
  • Expect and be able to accommodate short notice for overtime and weekend work schedules
