Aeneas Internet & Telephone - Computer Technician/Analyst

Duties

As a Computer Technician/Analyst, you will staff our Managed IT Services Provider department to sell, maintain, and monitor clients network systems.

The Computer Technician/Analyst is a full-time position Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Weekend, pre and after hours work due to customer support issues when needed are required.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Setup, install, & maintain end-user servers, network, and workstations
  • Hyper-V virtualization setup and maintenance
  • Windows Server 2012/2016 setup and maintenance
  • Windows 7/8/10 setup and maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and provide corrective action on client computer IT systems
  • Server & Workstations
  • Computer Network, Firewalls, Wireless Access Points
  • Workstation and Server Applications
  • Maintain strong Internet security and minimize threat level
  • Firewall configuration and monitoring
  • On-site visits to client locations
  • In-House Help Desk technical support
  • Install software applications on end user PC's and servers
  • Maintain cutting-edge technology services for clients
  • Utilize Internet and Internet tools for clients
  • Interact with current and new customers
  • Provide client documentation for further reference
  • Entry and detailed update in company Ticketing System 

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Excellent oral and written communication and strong organizational skills required
  • Must have the ability to work independently
  • Must have experience with IT support
  • Must be able to troubleshoot and repair IT related issues
  • Windows Server
  • End-User Applications

  • Networking
  • Internet Security
  • Windows server 2012/2016 knowledge preferred
  • Active Directory/Group Policy
  • DNS, DHCP
  • Hyper-V experience a plus
  • Computer network knowledge
  • Managed Switches and Access Points
  • Firewall and Internet Security
  • DHCP/DNS
  • IP Routing
  • Firewall configuration and maintenance experience
  • Remote Management and Monitoring experience
  • ConnectWise and Labtech experience a Plus!
  • Must possess the skills necessary to learn detailed aspects of job
  • Candidate must be very friendly, maintain a professional image, and must be customer service oriented
  • Must have driver's license and transportation
