Duties
The Quality Specialist generates quality charts/reports to maintain communication among UGN associates and staff. Will perform duties of Quality Technician as needed and report to Quality Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Maintain corrective actions system
Maintain Document Control
Develop yearly ISO9001 audit schedule, assure all audits are completed
Support yearly ISO9001 audit
Develop and review PFEMA, Control Plans, Sample Data Sheets
Support New Model launches and Sample Data collection
Review and update engineering change information
Internal approval of check fixtures, die boards
Support Customer activity SP, 8D, investigation
Maintain Gage Track (calibration records)
Support Warranty Activity
Maintain Quality Hold area
Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Experience:
Associates degree or one year certificate from college or technical school
One plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors and internal partners
Proficiency with Microsoft Office application - Word, Excel, Power Point and Microsoft Outlook
Knowledge of Gage Track or maintaining calibration records is a plus
Knowledge of Quality Systems ISO9001/IATF16949 are a plus
Lead Auditor Certified, Gage Track Training (calibration)
