Duties
Sparkle Cleaners is a locally owned dry cleaners looking for individuals who enjoy working with people. No experience is needed, however, a smile, energy and a great attitude are essential!
Responsibilities:
Greet customers with a happy and friendly attitude
Accept customer dry cleaning and alteration drop offs
Full inspect, describe, and note any special attention garments
Create invoices for incoming orders
Be able to take cash payments and provide correct change
Tag garments for cleaning
Assemble clothing orders occasionally
Rack completed orders numerically
Retrieve garments when customers come to pick up
Answer, direct phone calls, and take messages if necessary
Sort recycled hangers received from customers
Maintain the cleanliness of the store on a daily basis
Other duties as needed
Qualifications
Preferred Shift Availability:
Monday - Friday 11:00 am - 6:00 pm & one Saturday per month 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
Job Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age
1-2 years of work experience
Excellent customer service skills
Dry cleaning experience a plus but not necessary
Good written and verbal communication skills
Professional appearance and manner
Must be able to multitask
Must have a team player attitude
Must be able to build customer relationships, earning their trust and loyalty
Proficient at troubleshooting problems and finding solutions
Be punctual and DEPENDABLE!
Able to stand/walk for full length of shift
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
