Duties
Accompany the healthcare provider into patient examination rooms to transcribe the patient's history, physical exam findings, consultations, labs, X-rays, and evaluations directly into the medical record.
Prepare plans for follow-up care, as directed by the provider
Provide administrative support to providers, including phone calls, alerting the physician when labs/radiology reports are complete, etc.
Qualifications
Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
Able to operate a computer and/or laptop through proficient typing - 40 words per minute preferred.
Minimum availability required is two shifts per week; shifts range from eight to 12 hours long.
