Duties
Follow all safety and work procedures to successfully complete production and special testing of power bushings up to 230 kV (900 kV BIL) to ensure manufactured product meets design specifications and industry standards. Communicate test results and/or failure modes effectively to supervisor, design engineer, manufacturing engineer or quality assurance personnel.
Qualifications
Require associate's degree or two-year certificate in Engineering Technology, Industrial Electricity, Electronics Technology or related field.
Must be able to read and comprehend safety procedures, work instructions and assembly drawings.
Ability to operate a computer and learn specialized programs as needed to perform job functions.
Able to stand, walk, and/or climb on hard surfaces for up to 10 hours per day.
Able to regularly pick up and manipulate up to 35 pounds safely.
Prefer two years of experience in product testing or quality assurance; proficient with Microsoft Office applications and Windows based programs.
