The Academic Affairs Division includes the subdivisions of Business and CIT, Engineering Systems Technology, Humanities and Social Sciences, Math and Natural Sciences, and Nursing and Health Sciences. Academic Affairs also oversees the Academic Assistance Center, Learning Support Program, Library, Distance Education, and the Writing Center. Two off-campus centers are located in Savannah and Lexington. The deans and directors of these areas report to the Vice President of Academic Affairs.
The Academic Affairs Division of Jackson State Community College provides a dynamic, learning-centered environment dedicated to integrity, excellence, innovation and success.
Among other things, the Academic Affairs Office provides leadership for the academic calendar, advising, curriculum, coordination of classes, graduation process, faculty issues, and other academic policies and processes. We are located in the Administration Building, Room 113 and are open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
