Dr. Dillon Tripp is originally from the small, East Texas town of Queen City. After graduating High School, he attended Sothern Arkansas University and received his B.A. in English. After graduation, Dillon was brought to Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA for the MFA - Nonfiction program as the Perry Morgan Fellow. After receiving his degree, he began work at Jackson State as the Director of the Writing Center, and recently completed his Ed. D in Leadership and Professional Practice from Trevecca Nazarene University.

Dr. Tripp is an avid comic book collector, with many first appearances, statues, and pieces of original art decorating his office. He also enjoys Predators Hockey, Astros Baseball, and time in the gym and kickboxing.
