Charity Dodgeball Tournament Scheduled for April 12-16

The Student Government Association at Jackson State Community College will hold its annual Charity Dodgeball Tournament April 12-16 in the JSCC Gym. Seven teams made up of faculty, staff and students will compete to raise funds for charity organizations.

The first place team will earn 50 percent of the proceeds for its charity and the remainder of the proceeds will be split evenly between the remaining teams' charity. Charities chosen by the teams include: JSCC Student Relief Fund, Special Needs Field of Jackson, the Cerebral Palsy Center, the JSCC Emergency Loan Fund, Jackson-Madison County Humane Society, St. Jude and the Imagination Library.

Games will be played in the afternoons everyday with the championships played on Friday beginning at 2 p.m. Check www.jscc.edu for a complete game schedule. Admission to watch the games is free and the public is invited. Concessions will be available for sale.
