The Jackson State Community College English and Foreign Language department will offer several new classes this fall. The classes are Technical Writing and Communication for Healthcare Professionals.
Technical Writing is a course designed for writing on the job. Attention is paid to conciseness, correctness, clarity, and usability. Students will write resumes, reports, and proposals. Students also will learn how to use visual design principles, incorporate suitable computer software, and prepare effective oral presentations.
