Jackson State PTAs Pass National Exam 100 Percent

The 18 members of the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) class of 2010 at Jackson State Community College achieved a 100 percent pass rate on the National Physical Therapy Examination for PTAs. The national average with this test is 83.75 percent.

Successful completion of this exam is necessary for licensure in the state of Tennessee. All of these graduates are now employed in the West Tennessee region.

The job market remains excellent across the nation for PTAs with a projected 33 percent increase in demand expected over the next decade.
