Jackson State Community College is sponsoring the New Horizons art show at the Ned through February 28. This is in cooperation with ArtReach, an art outreach program in collaboration with the City of Jackson. The Ned McWherter Cultural Arts Center is located at 316 East Main St. in downtown Jackson.
The annual event, in which Jackson State has participated for the last seven years, showcases student artwork. This year there are works from students at Jackson State, UT-Martin, UT-Knoxville, University of Memphis, Union University, Lambuth University, The Memphis College of Art, Ole Miss and the University of North Carolina at Ashville.
