JSCC's RCT Program Receives Continuing Accreditation

Feb 18th, 2010

Jackson State's Respiratory Care Program (RCT) has received continuing accreditation for the next 10 years from The Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC). The recent accreditation review conducted by CoARC recognized the program's substantial compliance with the nationally established accreditation standards.

The RCT program began at JSCC in 1970. Since that time, the program has graduated over 250 individuals who have gone on to be not only respiratory therapists but department directors, hospital administrators, perfussionists, nurse anesthetists, and physicians.
