Jackson State Community College is pleased to announce it is bringing the 2016 Live2Lead Leadership Simulcast to Jackson, TN. Live2Lead is a half-day leadership development simulcast experience designed to equip business professionals with new perspectives, practical tools and key takeaways for everyday success. This simulcast, open to all interested in honing their leadership skills, will take place Thursday, Nov. 3 from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. on the JSCC Campus in Ayers Auditorium, 2046 North Parkway, Jackson, TN.
Employing a balanced approach to learning, Live2Lead provides an outlet for individuals to better themselves personally and professionally. JSCC is able to use this high impact event to further its mission of providing learning opportunities that enhance the lives of individuals - a way of living that intends to promote a positive and multiplying impact on the community.
Through the simulcast, attendees will learn from world-class leadership experts broadcast live from Duluth, Ga. Upon returning to the office, attendees will be ready to implement a new action plan and lead with renewed passion and commitment. The program includes:
- John C. Maxwell, leadership expert, bestselling author and coach. Maxwell is a #1 New York Times bestselling author, coach, and speaker, and was identified as the #1 leader in business by the AMA and the world's most influential leadership expert by in 2014
- Simon Sinek, optimist, author and leadership authority. Simon teaches leaders and organizations how to inspire people. A trained ethnographer, he is the author of two books: the bestselling Start With Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone to Take Action and Leaders Eat Last: Why Some Teams Pull Together and Others Don't.
- Dan Cathy, Chairman, President and CEO of Chick-fil-A, one of North America's largest family-owned businesses. As head of the quick-service chicken restaurant, Dan has taken an unconventional, yet personally and professionally rewarding approach to Chick-fil-A leadership.
- Liz Wiseman, researcher, executive advisor, speaker, and President of The Wiseman Group, a leadership research and development firm headquartered in Silicon Valley. Liz Wiseman teaches leadership to executives and emerging leaders around the world.
