POSTPONED - Jackson State to Open Walking Trail

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO POSSIBLE INCLEMENT WEATHER. IT WILL BE RESCHEDULED FOR A LATER DATE.

Jackson State Community College will hold a ribbon cutting for its new walking trail on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the beginning of the trail in the northeast corner of the Student Union parking lot.
The trail is a .38-mile paved path that leads walkers around the east part of the campus through tall pines and around the JSCC pond. The trail is available for use by faculty, staff, students and the community from dawn to dusk.
The ribbon cutting event will be attended by the Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors and will end with a celebratory walk around the trail. Light refreshments will be available. Everyone is invited to attend.
