Dr. Carol A. Rothstein, JSCC President, Named Downtown Jackson Rotary Woman of the Year

During the Downtown Jackson Rotary Club's weekly convening, JSCC President Dr. Carol Rothstein was named Jackson Rotary Woman of the Year - a prestigious honor within the Jackson Community.
Dr. Rothstein received numerous letters of support for the award from members of the Jackson community. When being named the award, her career achievements were recognized along with showcasing Jackson State's continuous enrollment increase, community engagement, and her many recent awards.
During her acceptance speech, she credited her father for a life lesson he instilled in her as a child.
"My dad taught me, it's the small things that make people feel valued, and I try to make sure to do that for everyone."
