Duties
Southern Pride BBQ Pits and Smokers seeks a full-time shipping associate responsible for picking, labeling, and shipping all outgoing orders as well as receiving, counting, recording, and stocking incoming orders. They also support production by dispensing parts and safety equipment and by adhering to inventory management procedures and maintaining a clean and organized workstation and stock room.
Qualifications
Shipping experience and stand-up forklift experience preferred but not required; able to regularly lift/push/pull objects up to 40 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds or heavier; able to read, count accurately, do simple math and write legibly; able to stand or walk for extended periods; work in warehouse conditions with occasional exposure to extreme heat/cold; strong work ethic, attention to detail, able to work well with others, and have a positive attitude; able to work independently with little supervision; basic computer skills, Microsoft Windows and Office products.
