Personal Trainer at Lift Wellness Center

Duties

Assess an individual's lifestyle habits, medical history, the present level of fitness and goals before designing and implementing an exercise prescription for that individual.
Design an individualized program for each client he/she works with including the development of outcomes and follow-up with outcomes and goal obtainment.
Designs programs to increase strength, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, and overall health and improve quality of life for the general population. 
Recommends a well-rounded program that may include group fitness and other activities within the wellness center.
Promotes the facility's related fitness services to users and guests.
Greets all members and guests when they enter and leave the fitness area with a consistently positive attitude and friendly greeting and works to ensure that he/she learns each individual's name.
Works to establish a good working relationship with all members and co-workers.
Works with other healthcare professionals including but not limited to physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses to provide appropriate exercise prescriptions. 
Performs related responsibilities as required or directed.

Qualifications

Currently certified through ACSM, NASM, NSCA, NETA, ACE, PTA Global Inc., NFPT, NESTA, NCSF, IFPA, CI, ACTION, AAPTE or another certifying body that is accredited through the NCCA
CPR/AED must be obtained within the 90-day probationary period
CEUs for certifications must be up to date
